Concrete blocks
Concrete blocks are made from Portland Cement and other materials. They are used in the construction of foundations, basements, partition, and exterior walls. They are manmade building materials that are used all over the world. Concrete blocks are very strong and thus can last for a long period of time. Studies show that concrete can even get stronger with time. It is not weakened by moisture. The bricks can also be reinforced to protect them against winds and earth tremors.
Concrete pipes
Unlike other piping materials, concrete pipe has high inherent strength and gains strength over time. This is in stark contrast to flexible pipe materials such as PVC, HDPE, and corrugated steel, which have little inherent strength and rely instead on surrounding compacted soils. Concrete pipe has an extensive track record of performance. The first recorded concrete pipe sanitary sewer in North America was installed in 1842 in New York. But rigid pipes have been in service worldwide since 4000 BC.
Polymeric Sand
Polymeric sand is a granular material that is placed between joints or seams of pavers and slabs to improve the interlock. The main ingredients used to manufacture it are crystalline silica and quartz. It is basically sand combined with polymers. Other components vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
Chimney Flue Liners

Chimney Flue Liners
Masonry cement is specially blended cement that is used to produce a strong binding masonry mortar for use in block, brick, and stone masonry construction. It is made using Portland Cement, limestone or hydraulic lime and other materials. The materials are mixed to ensure that the mortar is strong, durable, appealing, and resistant to atmospheric conditions and chemical deterioration. Initially masonry cements were created to save the time spent in preparing Portland Cement and limestone at the work site.
Mortar Colors
The color of the mortar will determine the final appearance of the bricks. There are over 50 shades of mortar colors to choose from. Colored mortar can be applied to the entire building or to certain sections only.
Firebricks
Firebricks are used to line the fireplaces. They are designed to withstand high temperatures and their thermal conductivity is very low to enhance energy efficiency. They can withstand temperatures much better than the normal bricks; therefore, they can be used for long without cracking or becoming brittle
Chimney Caps
Chimney caps are an important part of chimney system. The chimney protects family from excessive heat and harmful gases. The cap prevents water from getting into the chimney liner. It will direct the water to the sides of the chimney to ensure that it does not get to the flue or liner. If water flows to the center, it will cause a rapid wear and tear of the chimney.
